Beyond the Hideaway, the Bracebridge area is rich with natural beauty. Explore numerous stunning waterfalls like High Falls or Vankoughnet Falls, both just 15-20 minutes away. For those who love sandy shores, public beaches such as Kirby's Beach, Bowyers Beach, and Muskoka Beach Park offer safe and shallow swimming on Lake Muskoka. Hike scenic trails at Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail, Hardy Lake Provincial Park, or the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre, which also features mountain biking routes.

Take a leisurely stroll through downtown Bracebridge, browsing excellent gift shops, enjoying cozy cafes, and visiting scenic parks like Bracebridge Falls and Bracebridge Bay. For a delightful road trip, explore the picturesque towns of Port Carling, Bala, and Gravenhurst. Don't miss our secret scenic drive: head east on Highway 118 to Carnarvon for beautiful rock cuts, marshes, and wildlife spotting. Then, turn north on Highway 35.  Once you hit 117 turn left and enjoy stunning views as you wind your way back towards Bracebridge. And for an unbeatable breakfast, Fresh kutz in Bracebridge is a local favourite, known for it's weekend eggs Benedict!
